Sometimes or most of the time, we (teacher/parent) may be wondering why are there obstacles to get our learner to learn English. Instead of telling what should do, expert would rather advise what we shouldn’t do to make learning of English more fun to our learners.
1) Error Correction; in other words, if there’s no error and mistakes = no learning
2) Monitoring is obstacle to learning; let students discover first with inductive learning.
Inductive learning - learn grammar inductively; not with many rules, learn with repetition
